From the same amazing people who brought you ecto, an OS X blogger client, comes the best mac RSS reader you’ve probably never heard about before. RSS readers are a dime a dozen, and Mac exclusive apps are becoming a wildly popular trend. With that in mind, it takes a little something extra to compete in this market. As you will soon see endo really picks up where other RSS readers leave you wanting.

Endo at a glance
Feed burners are becoming more and more of a commodity as of late. Some aggregators are versatile, like Google Reader, and you can check your feeds from any online port. Other aggregators work with bloggers, like Feedburner, and help you manage and track who is looking at your blog. Then there is specialized readers for Mac’s which have the style and flare of a mac app. NewsFire, notably, is one of these Mac apps. However, despite its rampant success, Newsfire isn’t for everyone, and this is where endo steps in.
As a mac app endo lives up to its predecessors. The typical attributes all hold up. Endo
is visually stunning, more so (in my opinion) than NewsFire. Also endo packs a pretty powerful punch. Mac users who are familiar with ecto know how this company can really deliver, endo is no different. Its organizational management is fantastically intuitive. Also, endo has many tweaks and hacks to fine tune this app for your personal preferences. For example, if you like a tolerable bit of nag-ware you can tweak how much endo talks back.
In general, this app is really stunning.
Customize
One of the greatest aspects of endo that deserves special recognition is its customizable skins known as “styles.” If you like the sleek look of a mac app, but don’t want to be locked into one standard theme endo can help.
Right now the number of styles to choose from is in the teens, however, as endo gains momentum more users will contribute. Also, the current styles are amazing. You can go with the minimalist version with “newspaper style” or let out your true Mac-ness with “Tiger.” As for the sports fans out there an “NBA” style is available for you.
Endo’s styles feature is truly novel. I really wish more apps would have this ability. Of course a lot of apps have the ability to be hacked, but that takes a lot of time and attention. Endo lets the user just plug in a new style according to their tastes

thanks for the link to ProBlogger in this post – unfortunately it has a bit of extra code in it and is not actually pointing to my post – seems to have a code in it

Not impressed! Looks a bit boring. Would rather stick to Google Reader for now.
