I figured I would post a quick update to my life seeing as I haven’t “myspaced” in a while.
First off I am pretty pumped about going to California in 2 weeks to see by buddy going to school out there. I have bought the ticket and have made all my plans to get things worked out. Its a seven hour trips (unfortunately longer than my ipod battery life). I have an hour lay over in Chicago, but beyond that I am flying pretty much across country. I am going to try and pour through as much of Ayn Rand’s Atlis Shrugged as I can while I am on route.
Also, I had a nice little trip to the hospital on Sunday night for what only can be described as the worst stomach virus to plague mankind. Unfortunately I never saw any “Save Farris-esc” signs on the water tower. Maybe next time. I’m back on my feet again, but I am really far behind in school which before now I was doing just fine in.
I went to Bermingham at the end of last month for the South East Journalism Conference. It was pretty good times. I won third place in Public Relations writing. That was pretty exciting. Other than than the whole trip was pretty much a booze-cruz. Not too exciting.
Finally, I am sorta torn between what I am going to do this summer. I am either going to try and find an internship, which is defiantly easier said than done. Or I will apply to work at Governor’s School here in martin. IT doesn’t pay well but it is free rooms and meals and I will be able to take free summer classes, which will help me out a lot. Who knows.
Anyway, that is pretty much my life right now in a nut shell. If anyone wants to send me money for California let me know and I’ll set up a Pay Pal account (j/k). Hope everyone else is doing well.
